CHAPTER 83
AN ACT SHORTENING THE PERIOD FOR REVOCATION OF THE NATURAL PARENT'S CONSENT TO AN ADOPTION.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. G.S. 48-11 is amended by substituting the word "three" for the word "six" in line 5.
Sec. 2. This act shall become effective June 1, 1983, and applies to all consents for adoptions executed on and after that date.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 21st day of March, 1983.
