GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 133
AN ACT TO REQUIRE SENTENCE CREDIT WHEN JUVENILE CONDITIONALLY RELEASED.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. G.S. 7A-655(1) is amended to add the following sentence at the end of that subsection:
"The time that a juvenile spends on conditional release shall be credited toward his maximum period of commitment to the Division of Youth Services."
Sec. 2. G.S. 7A-652(f) is hereby amended by deleting the number "15" and substituting the number "30".
Sec. 3. This act is effective upon ratification.
