AN ACT TO ALLOW THE LENOIR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO PROVIDE FOR ABC LAW ENFORCEMENT.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1. The first paragraph of G.S. 18A-17(14) shall not apply to the Lenoir County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.

Sec. 2. The Lenoir County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board shall pay not less than five percent (5%) nor more than fifteen percent (15%) of its total profits as determined by quarterly audits to the Lenoir County Treasury, and the Lenoir County Commissioners shall utilize those funds exclusively to provide for more effective law enforcement of alcoholic beverage control laws in Lenoir County.

Sec. 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 1980.
