AN ACT TO MAKE AN APPROPRIATION FOR PLANNING OF THE APPALACHIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE COMPLEX.
Whereas, the economic viability of crafts people in the Blue Ridge Mountain area has long been severely hampered by the lack of access to educational and training opportunities and the inability to effectively their wares to the general public; Now, therefore,
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute for fiscal year 1979-80 the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for planning and preliminary work Appalachian Cultural Heritage Complex.
Sec 2. This act shall become effective July l, 1979.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 8th day of June, 1979.
