HOUSE BILL 106

 

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE PROHIBITION AGAINST THE HUNTING OR TAKING OF BEAR IN TYRRELL COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  It shall be unlawful for any person to take or hunt bear in the County of Tyrrell at any time prior to October 1, 1977, subject to the approval of the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission.

Sec. 2. Violation of this act shall be a misdemeanor punishable by fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisonment in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 3. This act shall become effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 11th day of June, 1975.
