AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO EMPLOY AN ATTORNEY TO PERFORM LEGAL SERVICES FOR NORTH CAROLINA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AT CHAPEL HILL.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Chapter 114 of the General Statutes is hereby amended by adding the following new section thereto:

"§ 114-4.2B.  Employment of attorney for North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill. — The Attorney General is hereby authorized to employ an attorney to be assigned by him full time to the North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill. Such attorney shall be subject to all the provisions of Chapter 126 of the General Statutes, relating to the State Personnel System. Such attorney shall also perform additional duties as may be assigned to him by the Attorney General.

The attorney employed by the Attorney General under provisions of this act shall be paid from the funds of the North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1975.
