AN ACT TO REQUIRE PERSONS HUNTING DEER WITH RIFLES IN JOHNSTON COUNTY TO SECURE THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE LANDOWNERS.

 

Whereas, all of the conditions set forth in the preamble of Chapter 928 of the Session Laws of 1965 with respect to the counties of Warren and Franklin are found to exist in Johnston County, and the same considerations and apprehensions therein expressed are shared equally by the citizens and residents of Johnston County; Now, therefore,

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1. Section 1 and 2 of Chapter 928 of the Session Laws of 1965 are hereby amended by substituting for the words "or Franklin" where the same appear in said sections the words and punctuation ", Franklin or Johnston".

Sec. 2. Section 3 and 4 of Chapter 928 of the Session Laws of 1965 shall also apply in all respects to Johnston County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This act shall become effective on July 1, 1975.
