AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWN OF GARLAND TO EXPEND FUNDS DERIVED FROM THE OPERATION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL STORES FOR CERTAIN GYMNASIUM AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Garland is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to expend during the 1973-74 fiscal year from funds derived from the operation of alcoholic beverage control stores an amount not to exceed six thousand dollars ($6,000) for the purchase of gymnasium equipment for public schools located within the town.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This act shall be effective upon its ratification.
