HOUSE BILL 660

 

AN ACT TO PROHIBIT HUNTING WITH RIFLES FROM HIGHWAYS IN HYDE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  It shall be unlawful to hunt, kill, take or attempt to hunt, kill or take any animal by or with the use of rifles from any public road, highway, or street in Hyde County.

Sec. 2.  Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not in excess of fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not in excess of 30 days or both, in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 7th day of June, 1971.
