AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE NORTH CAROLINA BOARD OF WATER AND AIR RESOURCES TO IMPLEMENT THE HURRICANE FLOOD PROTECTION AND BEACH EROSION CONTROL PROJECT REVOLVING FUND.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State of North Carolina to the North Carolina Board of Water and Air Resources, in addition to all other appropriations, the sum of $32,200 for the fiscal year 1971-1972 to be paid to the Board of Water and Air Resources on September 1, 1971, and $47,500 for the fiscal year 1972-1973 to be paid to the Board on July 1, 1972, for the purpose of implementing the Hurricane Flood Protection and Beach Erosion Control Project Revolving Fund and for the preservation of the natural sand dunes shore protection line.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective September 1, 1971.
