AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE $20,000 TO THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURNISHING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COUNTIES WHICH PROVIDE HEALTH SERVICES TO INDIAN RESIDENTS OF FEDERAL RESERVATIONS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for the biennium 1971-1973 the sum of $10,000 per fiscal year to the State Board of Health to reimburse county or district health departments for public health programs authorized by statute or regulation to be administered by county or district health departments for the benefit of Indian residents of federal reservations within the State of North Carolina.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective on July 1, 1971.
