HOUSE BILL 1131

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 82 PRIVATE LAWS OF 1901, THE SAME BEING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF FAIRMONT, ROBESON COUNTY, SO AS TO REINSTATE PRIMARY ELECTIONS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 172 of the 1965 Session Laws is hereby repealed and the provisions of Chapter 149, Public, Local, and Private Laws of 1919, relating to primary elections, is hereby re-enacted.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
