AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 105-422, RELATIVE TO THE LIMITATION ON ACTIONS TO RECOVER AD VALOREM TAXES, SO AS TO MAKE THE STATUTE APPLICABLE TO THE TOWN OF VALDESE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 105-422, as the same appears in the 1965 Replacement Volume 2D of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof a new sentence to read as follows: "This Section shall apply to the Town of Valdese."

Sec. 2. Chapter 373 of the Session Laws of 1959, insofar as the same relates to the Town of Valdese, is hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification, but the same shall not effect any pending litigation.
