HOUSE BILL 440

 

 

AN ACT TO PLACE CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STATE PERSONNEL SYSTEM.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 114-4, as the same appears in the 1966 Replacement Volume 3A of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by striking all of said sentence immediately following the words "assistant attorneys general" in line three and inserting in lieu thereof the words "shall be subject to all the provisions of Chapter 126 of the General Statutes relating to. the State Personnel System."

Sec. 2.  G.S. 114-9.1, as the same appears in the 1966 Replacement Volume 3 A of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by striking out all of said Section following the words "Revisor of Statutes" in line three and inserting in lieu thereof the words "and he shall be subject to all the provisions of Chapter 126 of the General Statutes relating to the State Personnel System."

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
