AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 97-16 REGARDING WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN OFFICERS OF UNION COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 97-16 is hereby amended by striking the word "Union" as the same appears in line 8 of the Statute so that Union County shall not be excepted from the general provisions of G. S. 97-16.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 1967.
