AN ACT RELATING TO THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN MECKLENBURG COUNTY.

 

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Board of Alcoholic Control of Mecklenburg County is hereby authorized to spend up to two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) per annum out of the gross revenue derived from the operation of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Stores in Mecklenburg County in addition to the amount now authorized by law for the purpose of programs of alcoholic education for alcoholics and nonalcoholics, research, treatment, and rehabilitation of alcoholics, and for construction, maintenance and operation of facilities for such purposes in Mecklenburg County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after August 1, 1967.
