AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE JUDGE AND SOLICITOR OF THE HYDE COUNTY RECORDER'S COURT.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Hyde County is hereby authorized to fix the salary of the Judge of the Hyde County Recorder's Court, in its discretion, in an amount not exceeding seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month.
Sec. 2. As soon as practical after the ratification of this Act, the Solicitor of the Hyde County Recorder's Court shall be placed on a salary basis in lieu of a fee basis and the Board of County Commissioners of Hyde County is hereby authorized to fix the salary of the Solicitor of the Hyde County Recorder's Court, in its discretion, in an amount not exceeding seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month. The Recorder's Court shall continue to collect the Solicitor's fee as part of the costs and pay the same into the general fund of Hyde County.
Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
