CHAPTER 22

HOUSE BILL 22

 

 

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HOKE COUNTY TO MOVE THE OFFICE OF THE SHERIFF FROM ITS PRESENT LOCATION IN THE COURTHOUSE TO SUCH OTHER LOCATION AND COUNTY BUILDING AS IT MAY DEEM APPROPRIATE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Hoke County is authorized in its discretion to move the office of the Sheriff of said county to such location and into any such building in the county seat of said county as it may deem proper and appropriate.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect upon its ratification.
