HOUSE BILL 939

AN ACT RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF A DEPUTY REGISTER OF DEEDS OF YANCEY COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Register of Deeds of Yancey County is authorized to appoint a deputy register of deeds who shall receive as compensation for his services an amount not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month, the amount of such compensation to be determined by the register of deeds and to be paid out of the general fund of said county.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
