AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE TOWN COUNCIL OF LOUISBURG TO ALLOW TOWN POLICEMEN TO RESIDE OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Louisburg is hereby authorized in its discretion to allow members of the town police force to reside outside the corporate limits of the town, but within one mile thereof. Provided that the policeman assigned to Louisburg College may reside outside the one-mile limit.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be effective upon its ratification.
