AN ACT TO FIX THE SALARIES OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PERQUIMANS COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Perquimans County shall receive as compensation for his services an annual salary of four hundred dollars ($400.00). In addition thereto, the chairman shall receive a per diem of twenty dollars ($20.00) per day for each day he is occupied in the performance of his official duties, plus seven cents (7¢) per mile as travel allowance for necessary travel while engaged in his official duties.

Each member of the Board of County Commissioners of Perquimans County shall receive twenty dollars ($20.00) per day for each day he is occupied in the performance of his official duties, plus seven cents (7¢) per mile as travel allowance for necessary travel while engaged in his official duties.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
