SENATE BILL 139

 

 

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE CODIFICATION AND PRINTING OF THE MACHINERY ACT, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 310 OF THE PUBLIC LAWS OF 1939, AS AMENDED.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  The Secretary of State, with the advice of the Attorney General, shall cause to be inserted in the Machinery Act of 1939, being Chapter 310 of the Public Laws of 1939, in their proper places, the several amendments and supplements thereto enacted by the General Assemblies of 1939 through 1963, inclusive, and shall print in codified form 2,500 copies of said Act, as amended and supplemented, which copies shall be delivered to the State Board of Assessment for distribution. This compilation and codification shall be an official codification or statement of the Machinery Act of 1939 as amended through the 1963 Session of the General Assembly.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
