AN ACT TO AMEND S. B. 637 RATIFIED 14 JUNE 1963, THE SAME BEING AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TOWN LIQUOR CONTROL STORE IN THE TOWN OF BURNSVILLE, YANCEY COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 1 of S. B. 637, ratified June 14, 1963, is amended by deleting the first "may" in the first sentence, and substituting in lieu thereof the word "shall."

Sec. 2. Section 5 of said Act is amended by deleting the third sentence thereof, and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "One member of said Board shall be named by the Town Board of Commissioners; one member by the Superintendent of Schools; and the third member by the Sheriff."

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
