AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ALLEGHANY COUNTY TO FIX THE SALARY OF THE CLERK IN THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE OF THE SAID COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Alleghany County is hereby authorized to change the salary payable to the clerk in the sheriff's office in Alleghany County from time to time, and in their discretion, to a maximum salary of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after March 1, 1963.
