HOUSE BILL 1359

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE JURISDICTION OF THE POLICE OFFICERS OF THE TOWN OF DOBSON IN SURRY COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The members of the Police Department of the Town of Dobson, in Surry County, shall have the same power and authority, within all that territory within one mile of the corporate limits of the Town, which they now possess and exercise as police officers in the corporate limits of said Town.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
