AN ACT TO PRESCRIBE ADDITIONAL COSTS TO BE CHARGED IN THE MAYOR'S COURT IN THE TOWN OF NEWTON GROVE, SAMPSON COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. In addition to all other fees and costs now prescribed by law relative to criminal proceedings in the Mayor's Court of the Town of Newton Grove, there shall be added the sum of two dollars ($2.00) to each bill of costs. All proceeds derived from this additional item of cost shall be allocated and earmarked for the purchase, operation and maintenance of police motor vehicles and equipment, and shall not be expended for any other purpose.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
