AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 47‑30 RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION OF LAND MAPS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Subsection (d) of G.S. 47‑30, as rewritten by Chapter 1235 of the Session Laws of 1959 and as the same appears in the 1959 Cumulative Supplement to the General Statutes, is amended as follows:

The first two lines of said subsection (d) thereof are rewritten to read as follows:

"Certificate; Form. There shall appear on each map a certificate by the person making the survey, or on each map where no survey was made, or a certificate by the person under whose supervision such survey or such map was made, stating the".

The 11th, 12th, and 13th lines of said subsection (d) are rewritten to read as follows:

"The certificate required above shall be in substantially the following form: 'I_________________, certify that this map was (drawn by me) (drawn under my supervision) from (an actual survey made by me) (an actual survey made under my supervision) (deed description recorded in Book _______________, page ____, Book _____________, page ___, etc.) (other);'".

Sec. 2.  The first line of subsection (g) of G.S. 47‑30 is rewritten to read as follows:

"Recording of Map. A map, when proven and probated as".

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
