HOUSE BILL 723
AN ACT TO EXTEND THE JURISDICTION OF POLICE OFFICERS OF THE TOWN OF WEAVERVILLE IN BUNCOMBE COUNTY.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. The members of the police department of the Town of Weaverville in Buncombe County shall have in all that territory within two miles of the present corporate limits of the town the same power of arrest which they now exercise as police officers in the corporate limits of said town.
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
