AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF WELDON IN HALIFAX COUNTY TO TAX AS A PART OF THE COURT COSTS IN ALL ACTIONS AND CASES HEARD IN MAYOR'S COURT OF SAID TOWN OF WELDON A PATROL FEE OF $2.00.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Mayor's Court of the Town of Weldon, in Halifax County, is authorized to tax as part of the court costs in all actions and cases heard in the Mayor's Court of said Town of Weldon a Patrol Fee of two dollars ($2.00), which sum when collected shall be added to and shall become a part of the general funds of said Town of Weldon.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 21st day of June, 1961.
